I’ve always been fascinated by the amazing changes that happen in a woman’s body during pregnancy. Not to sound like too much of a nerd, but what a magical process, right?! When I went through my prenatal Pilates training, I was especially interested in diastasis recti. Pilates and overall health is so closely related to the core muscles, this condition was something I felt very strongly about fully educating myself on. It wasn’t until I was pregnant myself and began feeling and experiencing the stretching of the abdominal wall, and not just the physical, but the emotional impact that this can have on a person.
